Deleting a post

I posted a message about a Gates HVX200 housing that I had for sale a month or so ago. The housing has sold and I'm wondering how I remove the post so that others don't continue to see it. I closed the thread but couldn't figure out how to remove it. Thanks for your help.

a mod could delete it. don't think you can. you could edit it and change the whole post to "sold nevermind"

Or we could just do this to both threads:

item has been sold
