I was watching dive talk, saw Woody and Gus talking about the deep six fins, said they are the best fins they ever used. What makes them so good?

They have some proprietary material that is amazingly stiff for its weight. I find them to be compact, nice and stiff for controlled movements (nice as a photographer), and quite light. I travel with them in my carryon.
