--- you know you want your regulators to be pretty . Two of my dumpster recoveries, a G250 and a G250 Graphite. I just could not flame polish out all of the abuse they had suffered through over the decades. The cases and exhaust tees where very good but both covers had taken a beating, though structurally sound, I just could not make them smile again. So:
They are paired with a new Mark 2 Evo I picked up in Bonaire a few weeks back. Both second stages are fully serviced and have new gold orifices. Set to free flow with the knobs fully turned out at 3,000 psi thus at maximum IP for the (unbalanced) Mark 2 Evo. I rigged them for long hose primary with a 60 inches hose and then a 22 inches hoses on the necklaced second stage and a 26 inches hose for the mini-spg. These will be accompanying me to the Red Sea in a few weeks. I have already taken them on a test dive in the pool and then followed up with a 100 feet dive in TRL on the Zeb last week. Then I did the covers. Now the outsides look as good as the insides .
