85 in September, 85 -84 in October, 84 - 83 in November and now 82 - 81 in December. Has Jorge broke out his dry suit yet?

No dry suit yet but this am was a little cooler compared to all other mornings so far. Not sure what the air temp was but could feel it on the run to the first dive. No big deal though as heat index was north of 90 again this afternoon. Best move I ever made was buying that 3mm tropic beanie. Makes all the difference on the long dives when the water temps for me at least hit that 82 degrees and lower.

We have become jaded, I am also starting to think 81F water is chilly. I do not think we are going to get much sympathy from the west coast, Canadian or Northern European divers.

You guys crack me up. In the summer here 64-68, rash guard and trunks. Winter 52-56 with 5 or 7mm suit.
I am organizing a polar bear kelp dive new years day here, should be fun.

There is a lot more stuff down there than I remember. The Goliath grouper today was awesome! Plus 2 spotted eagle rays.

I have just recently begun seeing the Goliaths, since October / November. One in particular that I have seen three times now seems to have taken residence at the beginning of Palancar bricks. I keep seeing it hanging out in a hole on the west side of the first inboard mound (second decent hole up); he was still there last weekend.
