NOAA doesn't know about the Jinx. And I won't be there to counter act it.
It would almost be worth the trip just to watch.
4 ft sea can mean 6 ft waves crashing the shore.
You may want to watch the tide. Slack tide should be between 8 and 10 am. If you try it around then the seas should be calmer.
After 10 am the tide is incoming with an east wind might not be to bad either but early am might be a challenge. Be careful.
Just a suggestion.

Fred You are so Bad!!! And just what jinx are you talking about may I dare ask????
WE got Kosh coming who brings good weather, AND originally set this dive up... last time we had decent weather down here was when he was here...

Hey Jen:

After last weeks 3-5 footers ( which I might say you took like a natural ), 2 - 4 footer will be cake!

See ya Saturday!
:)

Seems like no one really pays attention to tides down here like they do up north. Then again, Fla. has all these nice beaches where you can walk right into the water without climbing over the rocks. Nice!! Can't wait for Sat's dive!

Jenny, I think Fred is referring to Mike's post about not jinxing the outing by planning too much for it (or planning for the opposite of what we want to happen).

It sounds like the weather may be kind to us (I'm sure it's not any of my doing tho!). Hope to see everyone on Saturday. You'll be able to recognize me - I'm the one without the tan! :)
