It is an insurance companies job to deny and dispute every claim initially. A sad state of affairs, but that is where we are in the world today. We all had hoped that DAN was not the same as our primary carriers who do this crap on a regular basis, but maybe not.

Because most of us have multiple layers of insurance, it also appears to me that they all deny initially to see if the other carrier will pay first, negateing their obligation to pay. A veritable game of " chicken " being played at the insureds risk.

My advice is to get a lawyer that specialises in this crap and get them to start saber rattling via registered mail to ALL the companies involved and see if that does not speed up the " who is responsible " game of chicken they like to pay.

Glad you are O.K. hope this finds resolution for you sooner than later.
