D400 metal orifice needed

...but what could be the problem with the 1st D400 Generation lever (on the pic the 2nd from the right)?

From what I can see I'd say the notch has been machined out with square edges and relatively thin section remaining, could crack or bend. The one on the far right looks crude but would be much stronger with the notch being cold forged and featuring root radii.

I think I have a couple of parts d400s that have that part in them will check this week
