Current conditions at Catalina's Casino Point Dive park

Hitting Catalina Dive Park tomorrow. 15 or so from the WAVES Project. Couple of vets finishing up OW class, a few other vets starting an AOW, and some staff getting some dives in.

Although I haven't been in for almost a week seas have calmed down and visibility is gradually improving. I probably won't go in until Monday night.

Does anyone know if the air fill truck is at the park on week days or is it there only on weekends? My wife and I are planning on a visit in a couple of weeks and were trying to plan things out. If the air fill truck isn't there where is the best place to get fills.

Also does anyone know what temp and depth the thermocline is currently at?

LJ, I don't know about the trailer, but you could call Catalina Divers Supply and ask them.

The conditions on Saturday were great. Temps were a consistent 72-73 on all three dives we did. And we hit most of the dive park.

Fill station is open during the week. Vis has come up to 30-40 ft in the mornings.

Depending one where and when it might be better than that. We had a 100' tape out for a UW Nav dive (AOW), and we could see most of the tape. First dive of the day. Got clouded up by other classes as the day wore on. But still pretty good considering.
