The first guy mentioned is another great local character, Jaanchi. His place is just near Ocean Encounter's West. Great diving in that part of the island-Mushroom Forest and Watamula, in particular.
Therer are 100s of trupials and hummingbirds that fly around while you rehydrate with a proper rum punch and enjoy some seafood. (The iguana is good, sure enough, tastes like chicken, but the seafood combo-usually conch, shrimps and a fish- is the one I go for)
Another hydration station is Sol Food, just nearby as well!
