Crash!!!!!!

Besides, SB is working just fine today with Internet Explorer and this week is the first time I've ever had problems.

FYI....it is VERY slow right now (not everytime but often). 10-20+ seconds to load (sometimes it says loading google ads or something like that but not always). Also, no other sites are slow so it is not a network issue.

The server logs show NO CRASH...

We use Firefox and we are having similar problems see thread posted by Livinoz yesterday!

If there is something we can do to help you identify let us know. Like maybe the ping thing? I donÃÕ know what I am talking about, but when I make an effort to, I can follow directions.

I have similar problems. All computers (3) are IE, get all my updates etc. My personal firewall kicks out the Remember Me in logon every so often, does not happen w/another work ownership that I canÃÕ download anything onto. I used to connect remotely thru company server with no change in problems. Now only connect direct to itÃÔ DSL (independent of company server.). IT been threatening all of us saying malicious is increasing, as in server blocks but attacks increasing. :depressed: That connection is always slower on all internet stuff I access daily.

I do go to the board from that computer the least frequent and still have the occasional problems with page unavailable within the board or site to begin, post not appear. It is a DSL connection, much slower than my personal computers which are Road Runner cable.
Every time IÃ×e checked my speed it is the constant, low speed for most people according to some comparison thingy, but highest speed attainable from this Island. DSL slower. Laptop is wireless to home PC and always slower but relative to what is happening in home PC. Or, the same problem on Laptop is reflected on wired PC, same usual lag time all sites. Other problems happened with both computers.


Most common for me is cannot access the site. Other sites always work fine. Been happening sporadic frequency, for an hour and IÃÎ back on again, longer and IÃ×e gone off to do something else, later in day back on, then happed again. Some times only for minutes. Usual time is very late (HST is 5 hrs behind East coast)when many sites do maintenance so IÃ×e assumed that. Now some times inaccessible for just minutes. Some times I have seen it mid day.Next is within the board and select thread, page unavailable.

• Much slower response even low # of posts in a thread
• Next I post in a thread and it does not appear.
• Next new posts page unavailable or forums page unavailable
• Was showing up quite a bit there for several days when I would quote someone mid thread my post was below them, and date days out of order. (Display example, not looking for the actual times it happened.
  • Last post in thread #12/15 @ 9am. I asked about this with no answer.
  • #10 on 12/10 @ 7am, I quote it and my post is #11 date 12/16 @10pm
  • Next post in line #12 12/10 @ 7:15 am
• Have not had the board crash my system, but has made IE crash, rare. Restart works.

What seems most odd is the rare times I'm on and only briefly, mid day on the work computer have same problem. I wondered if it was personal sinec no one was complaining back when it began back at the same time the odd characters began, one day fine, next day all the weirdness began.
I do usually come here in pm to look for something to read before going to sleep. I didn't say anything since no one at the board seemed interested in fixing the odd characters brought up.

Contrary to popular belief, I do need to sleep.

I dedicate a large portion of the time not spent on diving, work and family to SB. However, since this time is limited, it means that issues may take some time to be resolved.

We are aware of these issues but that doesn't mean there's a quick solution.

Ok thanks. El Orans working on it and that's all I need to know. I will just wait besides it doesn't happen all the time. El Orans, do you really have to sleep? SB could use a few more hours of your time.

Um...is site support going to go ahead and address the fact that board has been crashing several times a day at any point??
