Cozumel this weekend. Any problem with boat pickup at Iberostar?

Wife and I are headed to Coz this weekend and I lined up 2 days diving with a dive shop I've used before and they agreed to pick my up at Iberostar.
This afternoon I was talking with my LDS (who also isn't big on the dive op I've picked) and he tells me the dive op at Iberostar (Dressel Divers) does not like outside shops picking up at their dock and might make me wade in from the shore instead of using the dock. Is anyone aware of any problems boarding outside dive op boats at Iberostar?

I've never been to Iberostar and didn't know they had an op there when I booked with the operator I'm using.

I have heard that some Ops have an easier time picking up there, than others.
Maybe you can do a few afternoon or night dives with Dressel, and they will let you slide when your Op picks you up. Best to ask them up front.
