Wrapped up 5 days of diving today

was anyone else out?

Currents were ripping, and going the opposite direction... We dove yucab and the sand looked like tornadoes or dust storms, we were flying through there, it was actually kinda fun

I dove in conditions like that a few years ago. I found it frustrating going through some passes with all my finning might just to crash into coral on the other side.

I just got back from a two week trip and there were two or three dives that just weren't any fun because of the current. One of them, at Villablanca Wall, we called the dive early because of it.

So ....

We were down at freedom in Paradise AKA Paradise bar and grill on the south end...

Rastas across the street was closed and when I asked the bartender about it he said it's closed forever it had been sold to "some really rich people" and they were thinking about possibly putting a hotel on there..

anybody else heard this?

When they put in the new road a few years ago, they put the turn to the west from the coast road north of Rasta's; I wonder how much that cut back their business.

Is/was Rasta's owned by the same family that owns the Paradise Bar, formerly known as Bob's Marley Bar, across the street?
