Wife and I will be there August 6-10 at Fiesta Americana, we've twice before dived with Aqua Safari's but were considering Dive House out of convenience.

Probably decide within the week who to dive with but we are staying at FA.

Wife and I are arriving August 17 and flying out August 25th. We are staying at Scuba Club for the first five days and we are looking for another dive operator/hotel option for the last three days. Trying to fit as many dives in as we can in those 8 days!

Gawd, I hate changing rooms once I set up; I would hate to change hotels - unless I was leaving Coz for another location. Last year we spent 2 nights on PDC so we could dive the reefs over there for a change (ugg! never again!) and Cenotes - which were great, but can be done as a day trip from Coz.

We then spent 3 nights on Holbox, which was super! Love to do that again, or 3 nights on PDC to do Cenotes and a day trip to snorkel with Whale Sharks out of Isla Mujeres maybe, then a departure our of Cancun?

But if I were going to stay on Coz, I'd hate to change hotels. I might visit others, and/or try other Ops who would pick me up at mine.

Changing hotels may be a short term cost for a longer term benefit. We talked over the + and - of this and decided we would deal with the short term hassle of changing places to stay and diver operators. I understand the desire to keep it simple, but we hope to return to Coz and this is our first opportunity to experiment some. Our choices are to go to Aldora and Villa Aldora or to Casa Mexicana and Blue X .... not bad choices uh.....

If you are diving the same day you are checking out of SC try to get a late check out so you are not rushing trying to get everything together to check out by 11:00am (not sure about SC's check out times) most dive ops are not back to the dock until noon or later....also some hotels will not have your room ready until check in time whicn is usually around 3:00pm....just something to consider :) have fun

Fiesta Americana and Dive House on 8/1 - 8/8, with wife, sister and brother-in-law. CZM cruise divers previously. This is our first stayover. We dove with ScubawithAlison our last trip; I think with Chucho. Is he now at DH?

No Chucho started his own business. We are too at the FA 8/1-8/8. We had checked out Allison but she will be away that week so we were recommended to go with Chucho he gave us a good package for the stay. I will be with Wife and another couple. Looking forward to some relaxing afternoons at the Money Bar.:crafty:

We will be in Cozumel Aug 6-12. There are 7 divers and 1 non diver.
6 adults and 2 kids ages 12 and 14 who are both certified.
Staying at Villa Aldora and Diving with Aldora Divers.
Kathy
