Corrugated Hose Length

My Fundies instructor said, no. Too easy for something to get caught on the hat and disconnect unintentionally.

I've got the DSS hose hat on my LP inflator hose, and the DUI wide-flange hose on my DS inflator, and nothing was said about either in Fundies. I can't imagine disconnecting or reconnecting either of those with drygloves on without the flange.

BTW, don't forget the hoses are shorter in the winter in Montana...

Thankfully much less shorter since I got my dry suit though!

I would think especially for Rick with that short hose - looks like you need to about twist right arm behind your neck to reach for a disconnect too
