The diaphragm is still somewhat flexible with no signs of cracking or wear other then indentations from the transfer heads. The plastic washer looks OK too. Inside the spring block (part 11), there is a back-up ring (part 12) and an O-ring (part 13). The back-up ring looks like a lock washer with beveled, overlapping edges. Is that the way it should be or is this part damaged? It looks like too clean a cut and both edges match too perfectly for this to be damage.

Yes. its a split washer.
A new one comes with the 90001 service kit but I suggest you only put in a new o ring and leave the washer in place.
.......might be too late?

No the back-up ring looks fine, I just was not 100% sure what it should have looked like. There was no indication of what exactly this should have looked like in the manual other then it was not listed as an o-ring. So now all I need is one O-ring and I can put this back together. The Aquarius 1st and both Conshelf 2nds are back together and working perfectly.

No problem, I went to my LDS yesterday and was able to find the right size O rings for the second stages and the Aquarius first stage. I should have no problem when I do the Conshelf first as Amron carries parts for this even if my LDS does not. The only thing I could not get at my LDS was the seat for the Aquarius first stage. The one I have will work for now but I would like to find a backup part for the future.

The HP seat in the Aquarius lasts for years. Use it until you start to get IP creep. Then just flip it over and use it for a few more years.

Herman has found an acceptable replacement material and can produce HP seats for the Aquarius. Drop him a PM.

So what would be a fair price for a Conshelf XII 1st & 2nd with a Farallon SPG in average used condition?

Depends if it's a 2 or 3 LP port.......more for 3.
eBay prices are about $40 for a 14 1st stage.
And maybe 1/2 that for the 2nd stage.

Conshelfs just get no respect.

I had no idea they were Kirby Morgan superflow regs with a US Divers label on them until I started working on one. These things are great! The one I am thinking about selling is the older version with only 2 LP ports.

I think it is the other way around.

But, do you really think anybody other than a handful of people know what a Kirby Morgan is? They are not stocked at the local LDS and the Tech Forum does not extoll their virtues. Nah, despite the Conshelf being, best I know, used by more commercial, military and science/working divers they just have no panache and are now orphaned.
