Computer glitch or airport problem

Cheapo air has no flights into Czm, only Cancun. Tried Americans site and no flights are listed. Priceline ...same deal. Anything going on with the airport or is everything booked up?

trying to figure dive trip to either Czm, Florida keys, or Catalina island. Plenty of flights to Cancun, but not a fan of the bag drag and barf boat.

Providing travel dates would help. The bus/ferry from CUN to Cozumel is not a hardship. If that was my only option versus not going.....guess what I would do.

It looks like United out of IAH goes from four flights to CZM to one during August. The same may apply to American out of DFW. Subliminal message......fly into Cancun......it is easy. Enjoy the bus and ferry ride.

You may simply have to try some different dates (as in different days of the week). Airlines cut back flights during the low season and don't fly in everyday.

Unless you are particularly vulnerable to seasickness I wouldn't worry too much about the ferry ride during the summer months.

Try the ITA Matrix software. This also shows no availability at all for August 27 or August 31 or September 1 departure from OKC to CZM, and September 2 Departure is REAL expensive, over $1,600 RT, but there are some flights shown for August 28-30 departures for about $648 RT. All through DFW on American or United. Return dates must be flexible, as there are some dates in early September where there is no availability to return to OKC.

AA will go into the low / hurricane season schedule and drop DFW to CZM on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting August 18 thru September 30. On Thursday October 1 it appears that they go back to a full schedule. This could be a good thing as normally the full schedule is not restored until mid November, perhaps the 'yield managment folks' project an increased travel demand a month early this coming season.
