Well inside the surf zone vis pretty much sucked last 2 times i went out but once we got out to the reefs it was probably about 30 feet which is pretty good. And yeah 20 feet is probably overestimating it. most spots range from 15 to 18. But it's definitely worth the swim in my opinion. By the way it might be a little easier for you to make a right from Commercial onto A1A (Ocean Drive) which is one street before the end. Then the next light is Datura. Make a left there then go to the end. Either way is easy though. And don't try to mess with the meter maid. Bring change. The meter maids there are terminators.

I thought the dive site was going to be north of the pier so I'm glad it's south. We're cleaning my new apartment up one street south.

Anybody able to bring a kayak? I'm dying to get to the balls on the second reef, and it will be my first kayak dive... I expect to make four this weekend.

I'll make it and I'm bringing two friends along. I'll be able to dive till about 1pm. what time will we be meeting? I kinda want to get there EARLY like at 7 to get as much nitrogen in me as possible. :-)

big group. with all the flags we should be able to land some planes. lol.

So how many are going?

Seems like this is the list:
MikeJacobs
amelo1999 + cousin
MantaRey + 2 friends
Darkmoon3d
scuba_jenny
CBulla
KBulla
freedive

Am I missing anyone?

I'm jelous! All the good diving is too far away! Can't complain much because I'll be night diving the Rainbow River Saturday and camping on the river. Get to try out my new H.I.D. beam!

Still, my home is in the sea! I've been away too long. As soon as I save some money, get my divemaster cert. and transfer to my company's terminal in Pembroke Park, I'll go with you guys every weekend!

Till then, well, I guess I'll be doing alot of weekend driving & diving!

P.S. anyone wanna join us on the river Sat.? ( esp. single mermaids ;) )

ok so here's the deal so far, Datura Street at 8 am bring change. If anyone doesn't show by 8 I don't mind waiting but give me a call at 305-467-6587. I'll be there by 7:30 probably to make sure I get a parking spot. Hope everybody can make it. As mantarey said let's try to start the scubaboard international airport. Or would that be considered terrorism? ;) By the way Mike, I don't think anybody's bringing a 'yak. Still would like to see ya come out though.

I'm going to be renting tank night before since shops don't open until 8am. Will likely be doing sunrise dive with MantaRey around 7am. Considering doing a night dive (night before) if anyone is interested in going. Will likely be going to same place (Commercial).
