Jim,
If this is not already obvious as it is to a lot of people....this is a done deal! I am moving forward with my plans. More donations are coming in by the minute. My paypal box is full, people are even donating used lift bags. Someone, gasp, donated a 50lb lift bag.
Do you realize this will keep me from buying (10) 5 lb lift bags. My math sucks, so now I don't know where my count it.
People please, a little discretion when donating lift bags to this necessary project. I need only 5lb lift bags. About 715 more i think now. We have a few more months. Let's keep them donations coming in.
SouthSideScubaSteve, diversion? We don't need no diversion... I have been in negotiations with her for 5 years now and finally have secured the resources to do a hostile takeover of the quarry.
I have big plans for this quarry. Once all the man made objects are out, we then catch all the fish. We can then drive down to southern illinois and sell them to all the inbreds. Which is about a 10 minute drive from the quarry.
The objects will go on Ebay. The porta-pottys will remain.
Can I count you in on this?

These objects are down there polluting the entire natural quarry with their filth. Fish swim in and out of them, stuff is inhabiting them now, now that my non-friend is unnatural.
I don't mean to tee anyone off, but those objects have been rendered inert by ma nature. If you take a water sample you will discover that local run off is the worst offender and the geese flocks a close second. You may have forgotten that early 2008 northern Illinois had ALOT of rain. Thats the problem. You can pull everything you want out of the quarry and it will make no difference whatsoever.
Do yourself a favor an contact your local University extension or the state of Illinois and have a water sample tested. I'll bet you the facts will bare me out. Heck, I'll put a C note on it!
By the way the quarrying process is not something found in nature. Erosion maybe but not quarrying. That has nothing to do with nature. As an added bonus, you stand a chance to pollute the wells in the community by doing so.
