I have the Mares Power Plana, and I like them a lot, I have more than 100 dives on them, but I like to try as well the APEKS RK3 as they are a little shorter in a little less wider.

I have two pairs of rk3. They work for me, and I've had the chance to dive in 5+kt current. One for my wet suit one for my dry. Try whatever you can before you buy.

What's your foot size? I have a pair of the largest rk3 I would be willing to send you to try. Both pair are the largest size, one pair I made the spring shorter to keep my wet boots better.

I like the shorter wider blade.

Apeks RK3, nothing else IMO.

Somebody has to throw this in there. I use only long blades unless I'm body surfing a gnarly shorebreak....which isn't too often now that I'm in my 60s. Once you try these fins, everything else feels like you're barefoot.
