Its going to KILL the cash cow of testing for Cozumel. Everyone has been raking that in.
I was thinking the same thing. A new testing clinic recently opened in a nearby strip mall. Then there are all the people going to hotels and private homes to administer tests. At some personal risk, I might add.

I think Europe and some Asian countries still require tests, so there is that...

Mask mandates for airlines just got extended, suspect the test requirement (airplanes only) for entry into the US will stay in place. The temporary telephone tax from the Spanish American war stayed in place for 108 years

Two weeks. Just enough time to "flatten the curve".

I’m flying to Coz on the 19th. Mask mandate on airlines expires on the 18th. Could care less about that. I’d like the Ag test theater to stop. Never going to happen. I think that we’re stuck with it for several more months. I hope I’m wrong.
@tridacna: Hi, I'm flying on the 23rd. Trying to find entry requirements into CZM. The thread seems to be focused on Covid testing. No Covid testing and no quarantine are required to enter Mx. I am bringing my vac card even if that is also not required. My questions is - do you need to fill out the 'tourist card' prior to arrival, to get a QR code? Anything else that I need to do prior to the flight to CZM? As of March 2022, I read that there is no need to fill out the Health questionnaire form (Vuela Segira?). Thanks!

I was there last month. No requirements coming in. Get your forms on the plane. Sit close to the front of the plane-they ran out of forms on both flights that I was on this year. They give them to you at arrivals but it slows you down. I bring my vaxx card - never needed it yet.

We're on the island now. We filled out immigration and customs forms before we left. AA had plenty to pass out on the plane. No other forms required.
There is a newer customs form which I got on-line, and the stewardess argued that it would not be accepted. Customs in CZM had no problem with either form.

I got my fourth jab notated on my card today. You never know when some rule will change making the card more useful at some crossing so I take it and protect it like I do my passport. It helped on my Honduras trip last year.

The Missus's nephro suggested we do what he is doing. Wait a little bit for 4 and get the newer one that is coming that is supposed to be better with omicron.
