Changing Covid testing requirements

EWR to IAH this morning - nearly 100% masked.

IAH to CZM - 5% masked.

CZM airport - everyone wore a mask - they handed them out at the entrance - except for the immigration agents who had them slung around their chins.

The current is blasting here. And I mean it. South to North. Never seen it this strong. Incredible.

What time did you land in Coz?

That does sound fun. Wonder if it was your airline pushing masks. Was that your United plane sitting there? And what’s with the fancy air stairs on United?

They apparently gave up on more than a half hearted effort by 2 when we showed up. I hate the deplane front and back. Guarantees I’m almost last from the exit row…

Love that they do that these days. I try to get an aisle seat third from last so I'm not too close to the privy, then I'm one of the first off of the plane.

Naval aviators don’t gingerly float it down like the Air Force flyboys - they fly it onto the runway and plant it - just like on the carrier!

Fancy stairs? Answer: There are none. Two joining ramps. Never seen that before but I like it! Makes deplaning easy. I have no idea if we deplaned from the rear too. I was up front and never looked behind me.

Interesting: One of my buds flew American. They destroyed his dive bag. He filed a claim at the airport. AA offered him a brand new replacement bag on the spot but he had to agree to drop any future claims. He took them up on the bag offer, repacked and took off. Fortunately he lost nothing in the original bag.

Went to Bombay Palace on 7 sur earlier tonight. Awesome meal!
