Alcohol was back on Southwest on our trip to and from Coz last week. That's my simple truth.....

That is bizarre that it wasn't available! On all my flights it was always there when I requested it. On my last flight to Cozumel I realized that United gives one free beer to start your trip.
"Currently?"
If you look at the statistics, you will see that there seems to be a high transmission rate in the vaccinated as well.
As in the December 10 article
I have addressed this multiple times, not sure why we are rehashing this again. The point was exactly what you quoted.
Please note the use of the word "also".
waterone:
It seems that currently the vaccinated public also have high transmission rates.
This holds true today just as it did in December.
with the click-bait headline and biased article which includes dubious claims like "the majority of Americans" but was based on a preliminary study "[43] cases of COVID-19 attributed to the Omicron variant, 34 (79%) occurred in persons who completed the primary series of an FDA-authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine." Otherwise known as FAKE NEWS.
While it was indeed an early study, however percent wise it seems to have held up very well.
Want to know what the CDC says after further study? Nah, that wouldn't support your weak POV.
It's not a weak POV, and maybe if you go back and reread what I posted it will make more sense. I read most of the studies released as I have a family and it is important to me to stay up to date as I can.
CDC expects that anyone with Omicron infection can spread the virus to others, even if they are vaccinated or don't have symptoms.
Nope. Just nope. Are you trying to justify not being vaxxed? Getting jabbed does help slow herd transmission so the unvaxxed are contributing to the problem, not the solution. If you are one of those, just boo!
Give it some more time and everyone will be vaxxed whether they get a jab or not. Good thing is that more studies are coming out that are pointing to longer lasting protection for those who caught the virus.
The CDC says "Because vaccines are not 100% effective, as the number of people who are fully vaccinated goes up, the number of vaccine breakthrough infections will also increase. However, the risk of infection remains much higher for unvaccinated than vaccinated people."
There is a new study out that points to higher infection rates among the vaccinated for the latest variant. However, it is preliminary, so give it time it very well might change and is why it is important to keep up on information.
BA.2 is more contagious than the original BA.1 strain among both vaccinated and unvaccinated people, but the relative increase in susceptibility to infection was significantly greater in vaccinated individuals than unvaccinated individuals. That indicates the subvariant is even better at escaping vaccine protection than BA.1, which was already significantly more contagious than any other Covid variant, according to the study.
Those are the facts even if you won't accept them.
I had to convince my 87-year-old dad to get it, I wouldn't have done it I didn't think it would be beneficial. I was also able to get my mother to get the shots as well. However, both still seem to have caught covid (not from me).
What seems to be a fact is that a lot of data has not been released, and I often wonder why.
Please realize that I am in no way trying to attack your POV in any way, shape or form. If you enjoy wearing a mask for an indefinite amount of time and you want to get any number of shots, that is wonderful
I am going diving to work on my breathing...its my yoga. Hope that you enjoy the day!
