Besides the Haigh Quarry, are there any other decent dive locations near Bloomington-Normal?

I am flying out with the wife the week of October 7th and leaving October 13th. She will be doing a class reunion up around Waukegan October 8 and 9, so I will be free to get muddy. I might also have some free time to cruse out to Chicago or any other Great Lake dive jump off point.

Central Illinois Diving Opportunities:

For some interesting wreck diving, head up to Lake Michigan (though this may be getting late in the season--not sure).

For reliable quarry diving, Haigh Quarry or Mermet Springs.

Bon Terre Mine, St. Louis area, a bit further away.

Few smaller local lakes, visablility, depth, and objectives less impressive
-Chillecothe Recreation Area
-Strode Lake, Lakeland Park, Canton IL
-rumors of diving at Kickapoo State Park, near Danville, IL, although anyone I've ever mentioned it to locally suggests other opportunities.

Thanks
