LC 2/18/13 Peacock flounder off Pirate's Point (South side) not hiding too well. LC201320130218_0198C.jpg

The Spotted Drum, found throughout the Caribbean, this one was found swimming off Cayman Brac's southside

LC 2/18/13 A young turtle on the South side in pretty shallow water; he was getting tossed nearly upside-down by the surge as he intently foraged on the bottom. Hilarious!LC201320130218_0211.jpgLC201320130218_0219B.jpg

I couldn't get both to cooperate. With my excellent buoyancy control, I must have looked like a blimp in a storm to the little fellas. Somewhere near Burt's Boulders. The corals are rebounding since Paloma, some pretty little clumps of stag horn are starting to show up in places. Don't know why Elkhorn gets it's name, Elk have horns that are identical to Stags. Should be called Moosehorn coral. Just my opinion.

Suggestion ...

if you use the tags (without spaces) [ img ] http.....source [ /img ] rather than the photo insert option on the tool bar the photos will remain full size rather than reverting to thumbnails.
