What is the main difference between the new and previous models.
1. Housing strength. In the old model, a soft plastic tube was attached to the housing with a scale and could be dislodged or lost due to external influence. The new model is a monolithic, durable body that requires the use of a tool to damage.
2. Accuracy of readings and ease of reading. You can compare the two scales.
3. Maximum suitability for shnorkeling, initial training and also as a safety device for decompression stops

Thanks for your answer

I have been looking for a simple watch/depth gauge that can be worn as a backup on a dive, and as a watch on surface (but keeping the look of a diving gauge).

Cheers
Rohan

On my "Want-it-but-can't-justify-it-right-now" list

at $4,300, I'll slip that capillary gauge on the band of my watch....

That buys an awful lot of diving....

2 computers, without question.

Depth is irrelevant without a timer and printed deco tables.
If you don't trust them to drive your most expensive car, you can't trust them to dive:)

I made a small website for a new capillary depth gauge. For now it is in this form and volume, but you can already get more of an idea. Now the assembly technology is being debugged and corrected after testing. After this we will be able to cost and choose a recommended price.
