I am shooting an underwater documentary in Cape Ann this coming week end
Sept 10 & 11. I have 2 spots open for anyone wanting to participate. Saturday afternoon we plan to shoot at Foleys Cove as well as Sunday Morning the 11th.
Anyone that can bring me to a Northern Red will be highlighted in the show.

There is one easy northern red anemone to find and the rest are a bit more difficult. The easy one is on the west side wall in a crack found above a mostly buried lobster pot. It has been in the crack for over thirty years according to older divers. All the others are on the east side fairly far out among the boulders at 40 to 50 feet, except for one that is close (I can't always find that one).

Hey, I remember seeing that anemone last time I dove there. Wow, it's been there for that many years? That's unbelievable. I've seen the northern red in a couple of different places this year, including on the wreck of the Romance in Boston Harbor(surprisingly). It was just about the only colorful thing down there. Good luck with the filming.
