There are several 'devices' made for this purpose. Deep Sea Supply markets a little bladder with a tube and a 'bitable' mouthpiece, primarily for use with doubles, but adaptable to any BCD (put it in your pocket). Drinking underwater does require a bit of practice, but is quite doable.Just wondering...if you are in the ocean and want a drink of some refreshing tap water..is it hard to drink underwater? with a straw?
Water is nearly incompressible, so the increased pressure doesn't change the volume of the water. More simply put, depth has no effect on a bottle of water that is completely filled with water.Just thinking, wouldn't the pressure have an impact on the bottle? E.G. pushing out the water as you go deeper due to the higher surrounding water pressure?
