My son and I have been doing our PADI scuba diver course (3 pool sessions and first 2 open water dives of the OW programme including knowledge reviews chapters 1,2 and 3) in the UK. We are travelling to Oz in a few weeks and want to dive whilst in Cairns with a guide. Our two open water dives were today and whilst I completed both my son was not able to do the second because the dive school did not have a dry suit to fit him and put him in a wetsuit and he got too cold between dives. They are going to charge for another dive now - which I think is unfair and we are runnning out of time to fit in another dive. So I was wondering if a
PADI training centre in Cairns would allow him to complete his scuba diver course and just pay for just this second open water dive to get him this qualification. We would bring our completed log books with us showing exactly what he had done to date?
