I used to do that until a house guest put it back into the icemaker bin part of the freezer. I didn't discover it until it broke the icemaker a few days later.... now it stays in the cabinet with the rest of my liquor. Vodka will occasionally get tossed into the beer fridge if I'm throwing a party. The kind I like has a really long neck on the bottle so I can't keep it in there full time. The bottle has to be on its side to fit.straight vodka (I keep a bottle in my freezer, Russian style)
