Brunswick, GA Scuba Diving

Hi,

I'm headed over to Brunswick/St. Simon's, Georgia for a family wedding over the 4th of July. Does anyone know of any good wrecks/offshore sites there and any charter boats that would run to them??

I've dove Jax before with Atlantic Pro Divers and that was good, but I was wondering if there was anything cool offshore of Georgia with decent viz.

I'm a DM in P-Cola, and I'm goin crazy now that they've closed the pass here and I can't spearfish.

There is a dive shop at Golden Isles Marina on St. Simons Island. Island Dive Center, 912-638-6590. islanddivecenter.com The woman who owns it is Judy Martin; she should be able to provide all the information you need.

One of the local diving "attractions" around here is Gray's Reef -- graysreef.noaa.gov

Not sure about wrecks, etc. but I'm sure Judy can help you.
