Thanks very much, sir! I think now it is seated properly and no more gaps from inside. I also now get a complete seal when inhaling with 1st stage closed.

I will try to get the cracking force checked at the shop before I head to the Red Sea in 2 weeks if I have the time. That said, I noticed that the adjusting knob (from fully in to fully out) did make a big difference in terms of how bouncy the lever was, and it is behaving similarly as the well tuned octo. I am sure I will get an acceptable cracking force using the knob alone. Worst case, I will open it up again and do it myself when I am in Sharm :)

Thanks again!
Every diver should have an inexpensive IP gauge in the tool box.

Unfortunately, you're seeing the downsides of the "regular maintenance cycles" that are pushed for regulators. You took a working regulator in and got a...not correctly functioning regulator back. This is not uncommon.
Gotta sell those $50 o-ring kits (oops I mean "service kits")...and in this case, another whole reg too!

Thank you sir! I emailed the shop along with the manual 😆 and I am bringing it back.

One of the reasons I ordered a Atomic T3 out of frustration (and desire of course 😂) is because of the 3 year service interval.
Long term I definitely should learn to DIY since this is not my first reg that got messed up after annual service.
Any regulator can be a three year service one if you make it so. Atomic doesn't do anything special to make their regs need less servicing...they just tell the truth. I believe the team that started Atomics broke away from Scubapro...maybe one of their issues was the annual service mantra!
