Dear ladies, i have a very important question to ask of you. i have a friend who battled with breast cancer for over a year and came out victorious. God Bless her. she has had a masectomy and had reconstructive surgery , to include a breast implant. i'm not sure what type she has, meaning gell or silicone, but was wondering if anyone has any info as far as diving while havinghad this procedure. i know she's scuba qualified and would love to get back in the water, but there's an issue of pressure, and the implant. if there's any info or any wbsites i can go to, for more info, i woud greatly appreciate it.

I am a breast cancer survivor.

Since my diagnosis and treatment, which included a masectomy and reconstructive surgery with a saline implant, I have logged over sixty dives. I have had no problems of any kind.

I wish your friend lots of luck in her future diving.

I just lost my dear friend, and sister in law, to breast cancer this summer.
It is wonderful to hear a survivor story.
Thanks you for sharing.
I pray for your continous good health.
