I have been using the UserCP for years now. For me, it's the easiest. I also subscribe to all threads I post in, and some that I don't. That way at least I get an email when there is a new post.

Oh wow!? I never want emails on new posts. I think that's the first thing a new member learns to turn off, but to each his/her own...
Actually, as bulky as it can be. Some threads are dorment for a few days, and if I didn't get the email, and am interested in that topic, I would miss a new post, especially if I am (GASP!!!) gone from SB for a weekend, ya know, like diving! 
Of course, there are some threads that when the email comes in, I just hit delete. Not a big deal.
