It is possible to do the morning dive, maybe not allowed per the rules. You'd need lights. However people have been sleeping on the beach so I sometimes take the chance.

Sunday is going to be crazy at the park. Yes, you could do it, but you won't find me there in the afternoon/evening.

If anyone here is diving BHB this weekend, my advice is to avoid spending much time in front of the beach on the west side in shallow water. It is a huge Peanut Island weekend, and there will likely be a lot of boats with less than sober drivers pulling up to the beach in that area to drop friends off who parked at Phil Foster Park. After a whole day of drinking they likely won't be paying attention for divers.
Those are good points. Guess I'll have to shoot for Monday morning 7 am high tide. Sunrise is a 6:30 am so that could work.

I was thinking of going Sunday evening for the 7pm HT, but hadn't really thought about any of that. I just want to dive :)

Not trying to scare anyone away....just providing a word of caution about one specific area based on what I have seen in the past.

Should beat the crowd then. Looks like 10 or 5 of six is light enough.
From there I head to Jupiter and look for a cannon I came across 20 years ago. Went back a few weeks later and the area was covered in sand. Been checking ever since. I don't think it's one of the ones that was recovered back then. Gave it a shot snorkeling today no findy but it wasn't a complete waste.

That reminds me. Saw my first BHB tarpon on Wednesday. Just couldn't get the camera to focus on him and "click" before he swam out of range into the west channel.
