Definitely a cooler pattern, but one of the pics I found of them seemed to show a hint of those "florets". I've run across several of these guys at the bridge, but I don't think I've ever had one allow a "face" shot. That one looks bigger than the ones I've seen, too. Maybe he was big and brave.

Thinking about sneaking down next weekend. . .

Looks like we'll get to dive the bridge this weekend - starting Thursday!

Finally getting back to some shots from last June depressed and ran across one of those puffers.

Also dug up a shot of a couple of decorators (sponge decorators?). Was never able to find either of them in the same area again.

Here is the little video of the sea hares. When we first came upon them they were in two large huddles but then spread into conga lines. It looked like eventually the two lines would have met up.

Yes...it is incredible what you see on a daily basis at the bridge. But this was special even for the bridge. Imagine chancing upon a mating chain.
I'm glad we got to see it.

my family and i drove all the way from ontario to florida last december for 2 weeks vacation, did 3 dives at blue heron bridge, love the dives at bridge much more than boat dives! thanks guys from force-e dive shop who help me with equipment, show me the map and point where the seahorse is. some video clips and photo slide show from that trip, can't wait to back and dive the bridge again
