I hope there is someone that can help with this. I found the work of breathing horribly high on my first dive, and on checking the IP it was 130. Now from the "technique book", I notice all other Beuchat regs have an IP of 140, and in fact the Dive rite Hurricane has an IP of 145. Having readjusted the IP to 140, it breathes beautifully. Strangely this did not affect the cracking pressure. Could someone supply me with the service manual, or just confirm the pressure?
Thanks in advance.

The standard IP is 9.5 bar (around 140) from my specs, I dont think it will be an issue to push it up a bit more if you feel like it, to 145 say.

Thanks for that, Widget. Still no-one forthcomming with the manual!! Seems like all the others are out there, this one must be available somewhere?

The VR 200 is still very new, so the manuals are not yet freely available, I will see what I can dig up.

JB,

Sorry, I do not have a manual either, but changing the IP 10-15 psi will not make a lot of difference to the second stage. Adjust the cracking pressure on the second stage to make your regulator breathe easier.

Agreed, Adjust the second stage cracking pressure. Likely it's not adjusted quite right on your reg. I dive a number of Beuchat regs and am very satisfied with them. I keep quite a number of their regs in stock.

Mat.
