Best FL Discover Scuba

Hi all! My boyfriend has finally agreed to give diving a go. Before signing up for OW, he wants to do a Discover course. I fear a basic site won’t spark the joy that I know scuba can bring. Where’s the best place in FL for a Discover dive? Any preferred operators? Really appreciate any ideas as really want to get him hooked!

If you’re interested in the Florida springs, a decent number of shops offer discover scuba dives in some of the shallow freshwater springs like Fanning. Otherwise maybe try the shallow reefs around the keys?

Make sure he has patience and a good instructor...

Blue Heron Bridge is a good DSD location, reach out to any dive shop between Riviera Beach and Stuart, and they should be more than willing to do it there.
