Aggressor customer service said that our week was the only one they were cancelling at this time. Fingers crossed for your trip! Now only one week of buffer between down and my scheduled sailing....
How far ahead of your scheduled trip date did Agressor cancel?Yeah, our 6/8 sailing was cancelled, too. I hope the BA IV issues are resolved soon. It’s a nice itinerary on a nice LOB. Aggressor customer service is handling us quickly and fairly so far.
3 weeksHow far ahead of your scheduled trip date did Agressor cancel?
My dive partner and I received an email from the travel agent we booked our trip through. It has been a crazy 36 hours (we were notified on the 25th). Hopefully you have travel insurance...and at least Agressor is refunding the cost of the boat (as an option). I suggest looking at the weather forecasts as well. Good luck...We called them about our July 20th trip, and apparently they put the boat in the water this week, and it was still leaking somewhere. So not looking good for July 20.
Debating switching to the 3, but it's "family week" so probably a boat full of young kids and inexperienced divers which doesn't sound fun.
How long did it take for them to issue the refund?Just an update...refunds from the BA IV have been refunded. Aggressor customer service did a fine job. Now just cleaning up the airfare...
Thanks to those that posted.
