I could see that being somewhat of an issue at the surface. If you are weighted properly it should be manageable, though.MSilvia:I haven't personally tried the OMS BWOD, but my old Dive Rite Rec-Wings had a bungied gusset cord. I found that it did have a tendency to squeeze the wing, but only when it was inflated tightly. I never had a problem at depth, but a surface swim with any kind of puncture could require constant attention to the inflator.
