I really don't like to push my 250s past 1.0" due to case fault geometry. I've experimented with .7" or so, but I do get a LITTLE leak when head down. Not serious, but I really can't tell the difference between .7" and 1.0", and right now, just due to the need to tweak the orifice a little bit, my backup 250 on my singles rig is about 1.3", with the primary at 1.0", and honestly, I can't really tell the difference between them. So, why not get that same effort in smaller, simpler package?

Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of the same thoughts when going with a matched set, and I do like 'em, but I think I'll try it. Worst case, I don't like it, and I go back to matched sets. It's not like I'm gonna be selling 'em or anything.
