In a normal year, we don't start to get cranked up until mid Aug so June/July is a pretty safe bet.
 
Statistically you're safe-ER in June /July but hurricane season has officially opened by then and they have been known to hit early. If you REALLY want to be safe and avoid them, Dec thu April is just about guaranteed. http://www.usatoday.com/weather/huricane/whclimus.htm
