In a normal year, we don't start to get cranked up until mid Aug so June/July is a pretty safe bet.

Statistically you're safe-ER in June /July but hurricane season has officially opened by then and they have been known to hit early. If you REALLY want to be safe and avoid them, Dec thu April is just about guaranteed. http://www.usatoday.com/weather/huricane/whclimus.htm

June and July are not bad for hurricanes. You can also limit your chances by heading to one of the islands outside of the hurricane belt such as Aruba, Bonaire or Curacao.
