after our dive we went to a fish shop for a salty lunch and one of the locals walked in shirtless and he had "AUSTRALIAN" tattoo'd across his back. im still trying to figure out the point - maybe the Shire folk like to attack when your back is turn so he was hedging his bets as he didnt look anglo enough i guess :shakehead:

:confused::dork2::confused:

The wind finally stopped blowing on Saturday morning and we managed to get for two dives on both Saturday and Sunday. First dive was in Lighthouse Bay where the water was cold (for around here :) ) surgy and very dirty. We retreated back inside Exmouth Gulf and got rid of the cold and surge but being tidal the water was still dirty with lots of floaties. Here's a few of my favourites from the four dives:

Big-eye Trevally:

Nice pics Gudge (as usual :) )

I am all set for diving tomorrow~~~ Was supposed to be today but I forgot I had family commitments and cancelled. Planning two day dives and then chilled will join me for a night dive when he finishes work. Which means I will finally get some pictures as he will bring the camera :bounce: :bounce: Also I am about an hour out of an ebay auction for a camera I can use underwater and am in the lead, I hope I win! Dan told me everyone will bid in the last 5 mins so I might still lose though :depressed:

:blinking:Hey Sas Congrats on being the winning bid. I will put a package together for you with my spare manual and info I promised.:blinking:

I get wrong far more than I get it right. Here's a classic from my Wakatobi trip last October:

Who knew it was possible to take the photo without seeing the Woody's dioptre lanyard right across the middle of the shot? :blush:

i tell ya, split fins are the devils work!!!

Sorry I am late in replying -time difference is a challenge. :shakehead:

Fish and Petunia initially loaned me split fins on my dives with them and I liked them so much they gave them to me ( Thanks again guys). I used them on all 18 dives in OZ and they were great :kiss2: Better than my yellow non split Mare fins1

Petunia, Bill is looking in our invertebrate book we bought in Oz but he still hasn't found what it was that turns from red to white. :coffee: Great clip though.
