I really like this regulator. I noticed it hums, almost like a really low note on a harmonica, when I exhale while out of the water. I don't notice it under water. The only time it happens really is every time I check the reg before diving.
The sales person assured me it was normal to have that happen when not submerged...but he did just sell me a pricey piece of gear.
Anyone else have a T3 second stage and notice this?

Yep. I have that exact one & it does do that above water. No worries! It's a good reg.

Perfectly normal! Most likely just your exhaust valve fluttering. underwater the surrounding water pressure would not allow that to happen.

The swivel is great & the reg works well in cold or warm water.

Some of my regs wil do the same, XTX, G250, as others have said it's normal, nothing to worry about.
