the D420 reg set is now their cheapest TOTL regs, guess it's not selling well at all.

I believe that the g260 is less expensive.
 
In current catalogue the G260 combo is listed at $999, the D420 combo $899.
In my region, the g260 is less expensive. Perhaps, it is regional.
 
Don't forget that this iteration of the Atomic regulator is all Ti.
Yeah, I’ll just stick with plebeian brass . . .
 
I imagine Atomic is trying to recoup some development costs by offering the new second on their most expensive first stage and will revert to pairing it to the lesser firsts as is their practice. I can't believe they can sell enough $2,200 regulators to make money on the new design.
If this is a center balanced concentric diaphragms regulator that's reliable and easy to work on, it will be a big deal.
