Just bought a new Atomic ARC Mask with the metal oxide anti-reflective coating and couldn't find anywhere about initially scrubbing the mask. I am concerned that it might scratch the coating!!
Any help!! Please no :11: guesses...

There was a post from someone on this topic that said you do not have to scrub the ARC lenses. Do a search for that mask it is in one of them. There is not anything to scrub off because of the coating.

edited: the thread is on the next page of this fourm.

Thanks Daxter!

If all else fails, call the manufacturer!
They said to use ONLY a mild soapy detergent to scrub the mask lens and absolutely nothing :no with an abrasive material in it as it WILL scratch the metal oxide coating.:D

Hope this helps others. I'm anxious to see how it works in the water now.
