I should add that I haven't tried wearing a single tank in salt water with a drysuit in many years. So, the single tank is fresh water with wicking layer. Double AL80's in fresh or salt water with wicking layer. When wearing Fourth Element Arctic underwear in fresh water I wear steel doubles. Haven't used the heavy stuff in salt.

For temperate SoCal Waters 10 to 20°C (50 to 68°F) in a TLS350 DUI drysuit with 300gm fleece jumpsuit undergarment with additional layered fleece vest & jacket combo 100gm as needed for additional torso warmth:

5.4kg (12lbs) hip lead in a DUI weight harness system [selectively either half or all ditchable], two 1.3kg (two 3lbs) non-ditchable pocket trim weights bilateral each side of tank on upper tank cam band, and a 3kg (6lbs) Steel BP carrying a single Catalina 13L (AL100) Cylinder.

For UTD Z-system doubles 11L (Catalina AL80's) sidemount, 8kg (18lbs) hip lead in DUI harness, and one 2.25kg (5lbs) pocket trim weight mounted below the Z-isofold, centerline dorsal along my T-spine.

DUI Classic Weight Harness:

I'm approx 170cm tall and weigh 70kg (5'7" at 156lbs).
