Hopefully this is the right place!

Sadly I think my aqualung transmitter is broken, perhaps it's the antenna?

I have already replaced the battery but it CONTINUES to struggle connecting to my primary computer on my right wrist and REFUSES to connect to my left one.

I have contacted aqualung who were absolutely @!%^ useless alongside one of the 3 centres here in the Netherlands who deal with them, this centre basically told me odds are I will end up paying more to repair it then I'd pay getting a second hand one.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience here on this? Any tips? Advice?

Thanks in advance!

It is more likely the receiving antenna in the computer,m than the transmitting antenna.

Try borrowing a friend's computer and see if the problem is the transmitter.

If the transmitter is the problem, people have had really good luck getting a refurbished replacement; email TAC@huishoutdoors.com. Provide your transmitter serial number. If it starts with BM you might be out of luck. If it starts with FP you might get it replaced for $120. A second-hand unit is typically $180.

Both the perdix 1 ai and perdix 2 ? I have my doubts.

I sadly do not have anyone who has a transmitter/perdix within easy reach I can use to test it, how come with BM one might be out of luck? Old?

Sadly I am in Europe so not sure if that'd apply?

You did not say you had already tried it with two different computers, only with two different wrists. Sorry.

The serial number prefix apparently relates to the mfg date. BM transmitters out of warranty cannot be repaired if they have been flooded.
You may be lucky with just an antenna problem. Best to email Huish with full details of the problem and see if they will send you an RMA.
Being in Europe is irrelevant to sending an email.

You are right, apologies on my end, I should have been clear in that there was a different computer on both wrists.

Alright, thank you, I will do so.

If the transmitter connects when in direct contact to the computer, but not when it is a distance away, it is probably the antenna, As this is a problem with both computers, I would imagine it is more likely a transmitter problem. Have you looked at the high pressure release valve to see if it is intact? If this is an Aqualung transmitter, it will not be covered by the Oceanic/Huish program, even if it were not caused by flooding, Good luck.

Mine appears to be serial number: FC 000565 (0116)

Mmm that is sad, high pressure release valve... Where is this located?

FC means Aqua-Lung. You already knew that.
Just tell Huish and let them decide what to do. I've sent them non-Oceanic transmitters and they have replaced them.
The posts on SB about "Huish Outdoors no longer services most transmitters!" are quite misleading. Ignore them, and let Huish decide after you've sent them the email with the info on your unit.

Alrighty, thanks!

I have send them a email
