How did you arrange the factory tours? I’d like to visit the SP factory myselfRecently visited Italy and did some factories tours in Genoa area.
Rumor has it that Mares will drop their XR line regulators and focus on promoting Apeks as the main tech gear.
But it's just a rumor...

I recommend diving with DGP for a few years, then asking for a contact in the factory. Then mail them and exaggerate your importance a bit.How did you arrange the factory tours? I’d like to visit the SP factory myself
Well, my two cents is that the Mares 62x is every bit as small and just as good as the touted Scubapro Mark 11.
The vortex delivery tube on their second stages makes them impervious to icing. The newer balanced models are easier to service than their traditional design competitors.
I'm seeing more innovation from Mares than I've ever seen from the overrated Apeks line. The new Apeks EVX second stage is an exception, but it's virtually the only one.

D___ NDAs ....⁶I have tested three new Mares designs in the last year. Two are just an engineer's delight, and at least one will never see production. While I don't think DEMA will be the release venue this year, I suspect we may see at least one new toy in January or thereabouts
It's difficult to truly come up with a novel design, and some may say that whatever is released is just "a variation on Brand B". But I'm impressed with Sergio Angelini's focus on innovation, though it remains to be seen whether the absorption of Aqualung/Apeks will be overwhelming. Clearly, not all models will survive.
