Aqualung EPG problem

Would like to hear from Aqualung EPG users.

I am having problems with battery drain/failure in as little as two weeks. I returned it to the dealer and the tech was rather insistant that Aqualung is having major problems with this unit. Apparently they have tried numerous fixes but none have fixed the problem. He claims that the mean time battery drain is six months.

Anyone else?

Yeah, at the local dive shop that I do business with, I helped check in a batch of Aqua Lung EPGs that came straight from Aqua Lung's warehouse. Don't know how long they were sitting in that warehous but most, if not all, had low batteries. I was told it was a poor design and the bloody thing simply eats batteries. That all I can tell you.
