So, were you going to answer the question? If flying were a good analogy to swimming don't you think we would see much more correlation between fish and fowl?

It doesn't bother me whether people like splits or paddles or force fins. Whatever works for them, but there are very few examples in nature of the use of a split fin type of propulsion under water. None of the animals you used in your example, for instance, use that type of propulsion. If you get upset for someone calling BS on you, then so be it, Cracker.

Well, you still don't see it, doubt that you will.

All the marine mammals and pelagic fish mentioned use a split type fin, the principle of lift and propulsion works in both hydrodynamic and aerodynamic applications. With a clear Leading edge and a trailing edge split fins create efficient propulsion. Bernoulli's principle applies, of course, in both air and water. The well proven principle explains clearly that lift and propulsion is generated with the proper shaped fin/wing.
